This set has everything you need to maintain and protect a large leather couch, sofa, or chair. Our big 16oz bottle of Leather Oil features a balanced blend of high-oleic safflower oil fortified with vitamin-e and sweet orange oils for an all-natural polish that enhances natural shine, restores original color, and revitalizes cells to strengthen dehydrated leather. This all-natural formula is completely free of harsh chemicals, preservatives, and synthetic fragrances, making it safe for all types and colors of leather to help repair and prevent dry cracking, scuffs, and scratches.


This oil is an especially popular choice for maintaining leather furniture by our friends at Poly & Bark and Article Furniture. If you are trying to remove stains or other blemishes, we recommend also purchasing a tin of our Saddle Soap to use before applying Leather Oil.

Instructions

Apply as often as necessary to help revive natural luster and moisture. Temporary darkening may occur. This is completely normal, and original coloration is restored within a few days. 


    • Thoroughly shake bottle before each use.
    • Always dispense oil onto a soft lint-free cloth or  Microflannel Buffing Cloth and then apply to leather. Never dispense oil directly onto the leather as this may contribute to an uneven, splotchy appearance.
    • Begin by applying Leather Oil to a small section of leather using smooth circular motions.
    • Move onto the next area and continue until you have applied treatment to the entire item. 
    • Allow apx. 20-40 minutes for the treatment to settle.
    • You can use your leather item once it is dry to the touch, however for best results we recommend allowing your item to rest in a warm, dry place for 24~48 hours before first use. 
    • Reapply as often as necessary.
    • Tip! We recommend applying Leather Oil once per month to keep your leather in the very best condition.

Used the oil on my Poly & Bark sofa and chaise, it looks beautiful. Didn’t leave an oily residue but instead left it soft and conditioned.

I ordered the leather oil bundle, saddle soap, tampico brush & additional flannel. I initially thought some items were missing from the package. My namesake Samantha was very helpful and patient in responding to my emails. She even followed up.

I love the flannel cloths. They take no time to dry! I used the saddle soap and horse hair brush to clean my Florentine leather bag and noticed the scuffs evened out. I do think it was because of the brush because I cleaned my other Florentine leather bags w/o the brush & the scuffs were still there. I won't comment on the leather oil just yet though because I think my bags are too parched for the oil to quench. I have to get the salve, I think. One remarkable thing to note is that all my leather (ranging from chestnut to taupe to bone white) all returned to their original colour after drying out.

So glad I discovered Otter Wax!
