Heavy Duty Fabric Wax | Regular Bar
Our all-natural heavy duty fabric wax is made from the highest quality beeswax and proprietary blend of plant-based waxes and oils. The first and only water repellent wax that doesn’t utilize paraffin, silicone, or other petroleum-based synthetic ingredients.
Using Otter Wax is an easy way to improve the functionality and utility of virtually any item. It can be used to revive the waterproofing capabilities of factory-waxed or oiled clothing, and is also an excellent way to waterproof untreated fabrics. Use on a variety of clothing and equipment like jackets, hats, bags, tents, and more.
Rubbing the bar back and forth creates the perfect amount of heat to loosen wax and spread evenly into the top layer of fabric. Works best with natural fabrics, but can also be used on blends when natural fabrics are in the majority.
- Thoroughly clean and dry item before application
- Rub into fabric to create friction
- Smooth out with fingers to create uniform seal
- Allow item to cure in a warm, dry place for at least 24 hours
- Reapply as often as necessary

I bought some amazing boots more than 10 years ago, and I noticed over the past few winters they have lost most of their water resistance. My son also got a new pair or leather sneakers I wanted to make water proof, so he could enjoy them even when it snows or rains. I've heard of Otter Wax, but I hadn't used it. I got it, watched the instructional video online, and it went on perfectly. I have a heat gun, which helped, but it wasn't necessary. I am recommending Otter Wax to everyone!
Needed a wax to reapply to my waxed suede Taft boots. This was easy to use and created an even layer. Shipping was fast as well!
i don't have a great sense of scale, so i Probably should have gotten the larger bar (or two of these), but i got lucky & it was *precisely* enough to cover the bag i'm editing. smells very good! i haven't exactly, stress-tested it yet, on account of there are more edits i still gotta do, but i am quite happy with my experience thus far :)
It work fine on the application of my hat. Soft enough to work in to the fabric
