No petroleum, made in USA, includes beeswax. Many good features here, and this wax has been a pleasure to apply and then watch it work in the rain! I've used it on shoes, on canvas bags, and even on an old rucksack. Water just sheds off it. It's a bit pricey but worth it because the ingredients are top quality (old adage: spend your money once - on quality!). I haven't used the bottle contents yet, just the bars. It's very effective.
I love this kit. Works great, I have the wax applied in my hiking boots. Really helps with the water and mud beading off. It’s quick and easy to apply and has been working wonders for me.

This otter wax fabric care heavy duty waterproofing kit is awesome. It has to .5oz heavy duty wax that did a good job on my canvas. The botanical enzyme deodorizer smells really good as well. I tried the citrus Castile soap on a stain on one of my hand towels and it took the grease stain right out. I am going to keep experimenting with this kit. I like all the possibilities this kit can do. I recommend it if you need to waterproof items. I hope you find my review helpful.

The wax does offer water resistance to the material it is applied to. Application is messy and should be done outdoors or away from anything that came be damaged.

I just bought a 20 oz canvas vest for work(I need something tough and the ability to repel some splashes from the hose when I clean machinery. So far I wore my vest for a week and I'd say it did its job . I Don't know If I didn't put enough or it didn't get to cure it right since it has just been raining these day and it's cold because I can feel a little humidity on my back but it ain't so bad.This is my first time waxing anything and id say it was worth it. I will surely continue to buy more in the future!

Great kit, easy to use
So this is a USA product and so you'll expect to pay more.It's nothing too complicated. It's a canvas wax kit. You rub it on your canvas to waterproof it and the best way I've heard is to use a hair dryer to heat it up and get it nice and melted so you get a good seal.Anyway, this is a canvas wax kit and it is what it looks like.

This works well, but my favorite part is the ingredients used in the product. I appreciate that it does not use petrolatum and that it does use beeswax. I did have issues with the smell originally, but the odor eliminator appears to have worked so I am happy with it.

Haven’t used the bottles yet, but the bars work as expected! Great to water proof your shoes or other things you may need.
I love this waxed canvas care kit! I have a few waxed canvas bags and needed a way to clean them. Especially the one I use on nature hikes. It gets a little bit funky and dirty 😂 this kit works wonders to get the smell out! And it makes the bag waterproof which is a definite plus! I’ve gotten caught out in the rain more than once on a hike! It has a nice smell and is really easy to use! And it’s all natural!
I’ve made several waxed canvas bags and this is the same kit they recommended in my classes. It’s a great brand, quality ingredients. The kit comes with everything I need to keep my special bags durable for the long haul. I also have several rolls of waxed canvas I haven’t even used yet, I’ve done some spot treatments on on the fabric as well.
Easy to use and works very well. I have used it on so many items and they all came out great.
This was used to freshen up my waxed Sorrel canvas coat. I used the spot cleaner first to remove a few marks, and then smoothed the wax bar across my coat in smooth, broad lines. I then buffed it in with a microfiber cloth, letting it settle in for a day before using it. This does a great job giving my coat a nice waterproof finish. Easy to use, non-toxic and from a artisanal company based out or Oregon. This performs exactly the way I needed it too.
I have some seams that allow leakage in my hiking boots, but used this stuff and did not have an issue. Not sure on longevity but there is plenty of product for several coatings. As for odo control, I don't know. Haven't really used it.
Took grandfather's old shop jacket (non waxed canvas) and applied a coating of wax. Applied nicely 3/4 of bar used. Beads up in some areas penetrates in others. Might need a second coating.
