Leather Salve Conditioner
This deep conditioning treatment is made from our specialty blend of natural waxes, oils, and butters. A rich blend of moisturizing shea butter and carnauba wax restores suppleness, luster, and shine to dehydrated leather and helps protect from future damage. Helps make leather stronger, removes surface scratches, and heals dry cracking. This treatment is free of any artificial dyes, colorants, preservatives, or petrochemicals, making it safe to use on all types and colors of leather.
Temporary darkening and a hazy appearance may occur after applying this treatment to your leather item. This is completely normal and your leather will lighten back to original coloration within a few days while any hazy appearance is easily buffed out. To maintain a uniform coloration and appearance we recommend always treating the entire leather item.
- Use a soft lint-free cloth or Microflannel Buffing Cloth to create a small divot in the center of tin.
- Press and swirl cloth until the consistency of the Salve is soft and smooth.
- Begin by applying Salve to a small section of leather using smooth circular motions.
- Move onto the next area and continue until you have applied treatment to the entire item.
- Allow apx. 20-40 minutes for the treatment to absorb into the pores of the leather.
- When a waxy haze has developed on the surface of the leather and it feels dry to the touch, use a soft lint-free cloth or Microflannel Buffing Cloth to buff away any haze and create a uniform appearance.
- Reapply as often as necessary.

The Otter Salve is a great product. I just a few minutes ago, applied a second treatment to some leather gloves I have lately neglected due to illness, and it really brought them back to life! A **** on/off can top would be preferred, however. BTW: The gloves are out of ca. 1962!
Great Scott, wish I had know of this product years ago. I have an excellent leather sofa but over the years I have fading and a few scratch marks. I used on my entire three seated sofa and it looks new. Thank you for a great product. Also brought to life a leather handbag I love.
I've been using the Leather conditioner to shine up and renew my selvedge jeans' leather patches, and it works perfectly! It even brought to life an extremely old pair that's never been touched before! Great purchase and I'll be using it on all my boots when they finally need it!
